We’re excited to introduce a new Christmasy look on Smartle daily word game! This holiday season, we decided to add a Christmas theme, to bring some extra joy to your word puzzle experience.
Very soon, when you open the daily word puzzle, you’ll notice a new Christmas background and some new dreamy sounds. We hope that this new style will bring you holiday mood while you will be enjoying your game and casually improving your language skills.
But that's not all — we’ve added a (semi) hidden festive feature just for fun! If you click on the snowflake hidden in the Smartle header, it will trigger a magical snowfall, with snowflakes gently falling as you play your daily word puzzle. We hope that it adds a fun and calming atmosphere, making each word game feel even more special during the holiday season. We also realized that it can be distracting for some players, especially for those who play Sprint mode and need to solve word puzzles very quickly in order to win. If you prefer a clean screen so that nothing is ruining your focus while playing a word game, clicking on the big snowflake again will switch off the snowflakes.
As always, we’re dedicated to making Smartle a game that helps you build your vocabulary while having fun. Playing a word game daily is proven to improve your word knowledge, but now with our Christmas theme, it’s also a beautiful and festive experience.
We hope that this Christmas theme doesn’t just make Smartle look great, but it also keeps the experience fresh for returning players. If you love daily word games, then this new holiday update will keep things fresh even for the ones who already enjoy Smartle for some time.
For those who might be new to Smartle, it’s a daily word puzzle inspired by classics like Wordle, Waffle, Blossom and other great word games. But with an exciting twist. You’re given a set of letters arranged on a board, and your task is to form five five-letter words by dragging letters with your mouse and swapping them. The game sharpens your brain and helps improve your English vocabulary without you even noticing or making any conscious effort. All this thanks to its clever design and daily challenges.
Having said all that, we have got some more amazing news to share. There is also one amazing feature coming very soon. In a couple of weeks we will be launching avatars! Each animal in the game will have its own beautiful picture, bringing more fun and personality to your word-solving experience.
But here’s a question for you: Would you like to be able to change your avatar? For example, would you want to pick a different animal for yourself? What animal would you want to be while solving daily word puzzle? Let us know—we’re curious!
And even that’s not all. Later, we’ll add achievements to reward your outstanding, smart, or even wonderfully weird behavior. Whether you’re a genius solver or have a unique style of failing every sprint, your efforts won’t go unnoticed.
